Summary
A Reddit post threatened to place chemical weapons at a Del Mar College Halloween event in Corpus Christi, Texas, in October 2024. Reddit reported the post to the FBI's National Threat Operations Center, and Reddit-provided account and IP data led investigators to Adam Hall, who had also harassed former girlfriends and their families. A Nueces County jury convicted him of terroristic threat, two counts of stalking, and unlawful disclosure of intimate visual material, and sentenced him to 10 years.
