At the start of CES 2026, Reddit launched the beta of Max Campaigns, an AI-powered automated advertising format that optimizes bidding, targeting, creative selection, and budget allocation in real time. Built on Reddit's Community Intelligence, the tool predicts the value of each ad impression and layers in AI reporting features such as Top Audience Personas to help advertisers understand who is engaging.
Reddit said that in split tests run during 2025, Max Campaigns delivered roughly 17% lower cost per acquisition and about 27% more conversions than standard campaigns. The product positioned Reddit's automation offering against comparable AI media-buying tools from Google and Meta, continuing the company's strategy of using its conversation data and machine learning to grow advertising revenue.
