Biography
Allison Miller served as Reddit's Chief Information Security Officer and VP of Trust from 2021 until 2023. In that capacity she oversaw Reddit's Safety and Security teams, was responsible for expanding the company's trust-and-safety and data-security operations, and worked to redesign Reddit's trust frameworks and transparency reporting, reporting to chief technology officer Christopher Slowe. She joined Reddit from Bank of America, where she was a senior vice president of technology strategy and design within the bank's information-security organisation. Earlier in her career she held technical and leadership roles at Google, Electronic Arts, PayPal and its former parent eBay, and Visa, building a long record in fraud, abuse, and security. She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. She was succeeded as CISO by Fredrick Lee.
