David C. Habiger

David C. Habiger is an American technology executive who serves as chair of the board of directors of Reddit, Inc., a board seat he has held since 2022 and as chair since late 2023, including through the company's 2024 initial public offering. He was president and chief executive of J.D. Power, the data and analytics company, from 2018 until 2025, after which he became vice chairman. Earlier in his career he led the software and digital-media companies Textura Corporation, NDS Group, and Sonic Solutions, and he served as a senior advisor at Silver Lake Partners and a venture partner at Pritzker Group. Beyond Reddit he chairs the board of Xperi Inc. and sits on the boards of Boston Scientific, EnerSys, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. As board chair he is among the figures overseeing Reddit's governance as a public company.
