Biography
Harold Klaje is Reddit's first-ever chief revenue officer, a newly created role to which he was promoted after serving as executive vice president and president of global advertising for close to three years. He joined Reddit in 2020 as a vice president of advertising, having come from the visual-discovery platform Pinterest, and he is credited with growing Reddit's advertising business roughly fivefold and expanding the company's sales operations internationally across Europe and Australia. As chief revenue officer he oversees Reddit's sales organisation and reports to the chief operating officer. His promotion came during the company's transformation into a public company following its 2024 initial public offering, a period in which Reddit sought to diversify revenue beyond advertising while courting major brand advertisers and contending with questions about advertising adjacency to unfiltered user conversation.
