Biography
Jim Squires is a marketing executive who joined Reddit in 2023 in the newly created role of executive vice president of business marketing and growth, uniting the company's product-marketing and business-marketing functions as it sought to win over advertisers and expand internationally. He came to Reddit after a roughly fourteen-year career at Meta, where he served as a vice president responsible for business and media at Instagram, helping build that platform's advertising business and its relationships with brands and creators. At Reddit his remit has centred on positioning the platform to marketers during a period of significant commercial growth surrounding the company's 2024 public listing. His hiring formed part of a wider pattern in which Reddit recruited senior advertising and growth talent from larger social-media companies to professionalise and scale its revenue organisation.
