Marco Avvenuti

Marco Avvenuti is a professor in the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Pisa, Italy, and a co-author of 'The Great Ban,' the 2024 study analysing Reddit's 2020 mass deplatforming of toxic communities and its effects on user toxicity and platform abandonment.
