What changed
Reddit's transparency report for January–June 2025 states that Reddit "issued 32,759 Cybertips to NCMEC (a decrease of 71%)" and "removed 46,414 pieces of content based on CSAM reports (a decrease of 76%). A single enforcement action against an account may affect multiple pieces of content." Reddit attributed the drop to "the continued trend of significant reductions in both reports and removals," which it said "reflect our ongoing commitment and investment in detection and blocking capabilities to deter attempts to disseminate CSAM content on Reddit."
