Summary
Ohio's Social Media Parental Notification Act requires covered platforms to obtain verifiable parental consent before letting children under 16 create or maintain accounts. NetChoice (whose members include Reddit) sued Attorney General Yost and won a permanent injunction in April 2025, but the Sixth Circuit reversed in June 2026, holding NetChoice had failed to show the Act is facially unconstitutional and reviving the law.
