Summary
Quasi-experimental study of 165 deplatforming events targeting 101 influencers, identified through Reddit posts and measured via Google Trends and Wikipedia page views. Twelve months after deplatforming, attention is an estimated −63% on Google and −43% on Wikipedia — the broadest platform-agnostic evidence yet that deplatforming durably reduces attention to norm-violating figures.
